It’s all in the Eyes

The Dubai Metro which has been a relief to sore eyed travelers, will soon become a greater visual delight. Today morning arrived with the news of Shaikh Mohammad’s decision to turn metro stations into art galleries with themes like ‘Islamic art and Arabic calligraphy, inventions, contemporary art and visual art’. This endeavor will certainly encourage art, aesthetics and creativity in the nation but also reminds us of how important visuals are to us and how integral they are to any message we wish to communicate. Visuals constitute 90% of the message transmitted to the brain and are processed 60,000 times faster than text! 40% of the population respond more to visual information and 46.1% of people decide the credibility of a company by the website design. Visual messages also possess the very appealing quality of transcending language barriers. Now for every visual you present, set yourself apart from it and view it from a different pair of eyes…do you like what you see? In the digital world, seeing is indeed believing and such belief is the best invitation to action. For more blogs please click here
